AC steht in der IT und Elektrotechnik für Access Control (Zugriffskontrolle) oder Automatic Control (automatische Steuerung). Access Control bezeichnet Mechanismen zur Regelung des Zugriffs auf Ressourcen und Systeme. Automatic Control beschreibt die automatische Steuerung und Regelung technischer Prozesse ohne manuellen Eingriff.
